So, when I went to bed last night, I had no idea that when I woke up this morning I would have a double dose of blessings...Got unexpected money coming to me tomorrow (almost $500!!) that I'll use to stock up on food and pay some of the taxes off for the car...The rest I think Ill save...its only going to be around $70 but still, itll be a good little chunk in case of emergency (i.e. needing food in a bind)...And THEN, I check my business email, ONE day after my Model Mayhem acct is made active and I have that blessing email from the Rep from Men's Health Magazine offering me the job on location here locally where theyll pay me $1500, pay for lodging, food and travel expenses. Im completely blown away what less the 24 hours can be.

Money aside, this job offer will be HUGE for me because not only is it WHAT I want for my career and where I want it to go (tv, film, fashoin photo shoots and the like) but, since I'll be getting actual CREDIT in the magazine for the make up.......OMG, im so freakin' excited!

Im starting to see that my mother was NOT right when she said I wouldnt amount to much. Im making DAMN SURE that when my girls look at me for the rest of their lives, theyve seen me working FUCKING HARD to make a good life for them and work my butt off for my dream of being as successful as Ve Neil and Kevin Aucoin.

Another thing I love about this opportunity, is that, while its three days, under the normal circumstances, I'd be away from the girls, Ive asked the InLaws to keep the girls an extra week so that I can do it and make $1500 and advance my career...The thing I love about this is that I can turn away gigs when I want if it comes between me and taking care of the girls....Yes, *sometimes* I will have to be away from them but its all for the good of my career and them.

Im so happy and elated and beside myself excited that its FINALLY going to happen for me!!!

Heres looking at a FANTASTIC beginning to a NEW life!

I am always saying in my tutorials that moisturizer and primers are essential in applying make up and have it look flawless and beautiful...But, there is more to it.

You should make sure that you have a good cleansing routine....Make sure that your face is properly cleansed and exfoliated as well so the make up doesn't just *lay* on top of the dead skin cells and dirt that you have from everyday or old make up you haven't washed off.

You should wash your face at least twice during the day. Once in the morning to wash off the sleep, dead skin cells and yuck that has accumulated over the night of sleep, and once at night to remove any make up you applied and the dirt, and again, dead skin cells.

Our bodies are constantly loosing skin cells that have died and replenishing it over and over again. When you don't make sure that you clean them off, they can build up and cause break outs, oil residue and just an over all dull appearance. Which, in turn would make your make up not as beautiful as youd like it to be.

Which brings me to the moisturizer and primer, both for foundation and for eyes. Moisturizer and foundation gives the make up something to "stick to". It allows it to go on flawlessly and, applied the right way, look airbrushed like you see on people in magazines and tv and film.

Whenever I do make up on myself or my clients, I always make sure that they have moisturizer and primer on. If they have oily skin, I use an oil free moisturizer on them. It is essential and should always be used.

I have blue eyes. Lately, Ive wanted to find ways to make my eyes pop. So, Ive decided to play with colors and see what works. This is one of the looks that I just did, with a little different FLARE at the end with my eyeliner.

I used a choclate brown, a shimmery rosey pink on my inner corner and an amber toned orange. When I open my eyes, it really makes them pop...

I like the way my eyes look with these colors....Other shades that blue eyes can use to really make them pop are bronzes, peaches, coral (hence the amber shimmery orange), and rusts...

You can also use the following colors and they also work beautifully for cool toned Blue eyes, like my daughters eyes (shes got a silvery grey blue eye), you can use a pale to a medium blue, a deep or midnight blue, violets (ive used purple on my eyes and they tend to dull the color, so Im guessing this only works if you have "cool toned" blue eyes)...and pale pinks as well, which I have used on mine and it didnt look bad, but it didnt look great either...

For those that have green tinted blue eyes, which I do, turqouises, teals, jades, and any shades of green really works.

Neutrals for blues can be anything like white (which I use on myself for highlights and inner corner), grey (which again, for cool toned blue eyes), chocolates and camel type colors.

Ive used every color of the rainbow on my eyes and depending on my moods, it either works or it doesnt. My eyes change colors depending on what my mood is and how I feel when Im doing my make up...So, based on that, that is how I do my eyes.

And I am so excited about it because I wanted to see it in the theatres but never got a chance to. The make up in that movie is stunning and Ive listened to a lot of the music on itunes and really want to buy it...I have an affinity and adoration for soundtracks from things that I love...i have the soundtracks for "tick...tick...BOOM!", "Rent" "Sex and The City" movie number one (have yet to get it for the second movie), a couple of songs from "Queen of the Damned" (cause, of course, David Draiman sang them....YUM), and a few others...

I know there is an issue between my favorite artist and singer of all time P!NK and Christina Augilera but frankly, I cant help but love them both..and I honestly cant wait to see this movie...I drool over well done make up in movies, watching and trying to figure out in my minds eye how they did *that* blending, what they used, if they used airbrush, if they used MAC, what kind of brushes they used...I live and breathe make up...Ive always loved it and Ive recently found out that I *might* be coming into a bit of money so if I do, I will be able to buy the rest of what I need for my business and I will be a VERY happy girl.

I went to a Tarot reader in October who said that my business would take off in about 6 or 7 months...which is April or May...I did a tarot reading myself the other day who said within 6-7 weeks (it was a very in depth timeline kind of layout for them) it would take off as well...and when is 6 or 7 weeks from now?? The middle of April.

So hopefully between the Tarot reader and my tarot readings I did myself, it will coe true........wait, no, let me rephrase that....it WILL come true. My truck will be fixed in March and I will be able to go out and do make up, hair, get my business really rolling and make the money that I know I can/will make.

Ive said this before that my dream is to be able to survive comfortably on the make up that I do and the clients that I will be getting. My dream is to get into TV and Film make up, doing fashion shows and the like. I don't want to work in a salon,I want to go to different places, see different things, experience different things...

I cant wait for this to take off!!
